We’re proud and excited to share some fantastic news — our UK team, based in Surrey, has been shortlisted in not one, but two categories at the prestigious Surrey Business Awards!
These awards are the biggest celebration of business excellence in the county, shining a spotlight on the innovation, dedication, and impact of organisations and individuals across Surrey. To be recognised among such an inspiring group of finalists is a real honour.
Peritus International has been shortlisted for:
- Innovation of the Year
- International Business of the Year
The Innovation of the Year category celebrates businesses that are pushing boundaries — whether through groundbreaking products, smarter processes, or transformative systems. We’re proud to be recognised for two patents in this space:
- J-Low: A game-changing solution for offshore wind farms. Traditionally, cables connecting turbines are suspended above the seabed — a vulnerable and costly setup. Our innovation allows part of the turbine structure to be lowered to meet the cable at the seabed, removing that suspended segment and dramatically reducing risk and cost.
- HALO: A specialised system designed to streamline the installation of deepwater pipelines and subsea structures. It tackles common startup challenges and enables fast, secure connections to pre-installed piles — a major step forward in offshore engineering.
In the International Business of the Year category, we’re thrilled to be recognised for our global reach. With nearly 95% of our turnover coming from overseas projects, our work spans continents — from designing a 200km subsea pipeline to help Holland transport 50% of its CO₂ emissions to offshore reservoirs, to a 1200km pipeline stretching from the Middle East to India, reaching depths of 3500m. We’ve also contributed to wind farm designs in Japan, Germany, Holland, and the USA.
Being shortlisted is a moment of pride for all of us at Peritus. It’s a reflection of the passion, ingenuity, and hard work our team brings to every project.
