Peritus provides subsea system and offshore pipeline engineering services to the offshore energy industry. This includes risers, subsea structures, cables and umbilicals .

The Peritus business model works on a network of regional engineering centres which enable specialised skills, knowledge and expertise to be shared across global operations.

The Executive Team

The Peritus team consists of industry leaders who specialise in the development of offshore projects. Senior technical personnel have considerable project engineering and management experience in field development, subsea and floating systems.

The Peritus Executive team are recognised industry experts with many years of combined experience in the  oil and gas and renewable energy  industries. Each executive has held senior technical and management positions within major international offshore oil and gas engineering consultancies, engineering companies, contractors and operators.

Experience

  • Christopher has over 16 years’ experience in offshore engineering, covering all aspects of subsea pipeline design from feasibility studies, cost estimates through to detailed design, procurement and construction.
  • Christopher also has extensive knowledge of various finite element packages including ANSYS, ABAQUS, Autopipe, Solidworks, Offpipe and Sage to assist in most aspects of pipeline design.
  • He has significant experience in the design of offshore carbon capture, transportation and storage systems located within the North Sea.
  • Christopher is on the IMAREST membership committee and recently was part of the DNVGL Pipeline Lateral Stability Software (PILSS) JIP steering committee tasked with overseeing soils modelling and testing within the software.
